We at Flourish would like to wish Sky and her soon to be sweet little family wonderful days ahead.

I've heard it said....that once you decide to have a child.... It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body.

What a wonderful Mother she with be and how lucky her precious baby is to have her for a Mommy.

Lunch and Learn-  April 3, 12 noon until 1pm

(Doors open at 11:50)

Bring your own lunch and a Friend.

Free- learn something new in less than 5 minutes and go home with a gift.  

Limited seating-  First come basis.

 

 

 

 

Coming May 11th- 

A Mother's Day Gathering- May 11th, 1pm

For $45 dollars you and a guest can enjoy a beautiful Luncheon.

The Luncheon is to honor the Mothers, daughters and girlfriends in our lives. {Ages 6 and up}

With fresh flowers and a fabulous menu-

Cucumber Hors d' oeuvres

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Chicken Salad Sandwiches

Sour Cream lemon Pie

Fresh water with oranges and apples or an assortment of Italian Sodas

Each guest will go home with a Favor wrapped in a antique linen bag.

Also includes Music and Creating. {Please bring a picture of you and your guest together.}

{Reservations are needed by Friday May 3rd....very limited seating....sign up early at [email protected]      Payment due with Reservation.}

The Open House was held on March 14th 2013.   I had a blast, it was so fun seeing everyone....thanks for coming!  I want to send a  Very big thank you to Sandi, Bree and Ruth for helping me with the open house and everything else!

The Open House was last night and I had a blast!  Thanks so much to everyone that took the time to come and share with us!  Love You!

I thought I would take a quick moment and post a few pictures....more after I clean up.

My Team- and the Flourish dream

I feel so very fortunate to have sweet talented family and friends around me....  That take time out of their busy lives to help  me with my dreams-

You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world.  But it takes people to make the dream a reality.  Walt Disney-  

 

Danny has been my number one supporter, encourager, put "together-er".  He has lifted and moved and hung just about everything in Flourish.  When I lay awake at night....he reminds me ...

 "It will be okay Teresa, if no one comes....that's not the most important thing about this dream.....What's inportant ....that you got to create and you made it happen....if no one comes, they are the ones that will lose out.  I sure do love that Man!

 

Shannon has helped me so much!  She is responsible for all the branding of flourish.  The coloring and Logo at the top of this blog were created by her. Which I will be using on cards, banners, and cupcake toppers etc.   She has been my right arm when it comes to "tech" questions about html, buttons, pixels, fb!  I think she has the typepad  dashboard memorized....so she can walk me through questions that I might have.  {I think typepad should hire her.}

Bree has been a super big big help- she has been my personal Secretary, painter, and shopping buddy. She has learned to remember where I put my keys, where we parked and when I just can't find something....she can.

 We've put chairs together, looked through a lot of dusty old antiques, moved furniture and then mored them again...etc. etc. etc.

Thanks so much Bree for your Help!  What are we going to do...when we have everything in place?  =)  You are awesome!

With Sandi and Bree's help we found Neva Jean, put up took down window displays....painted a chalkboard wall and moved furniture around! You gals are the sweetest!

Thanks to Sandi and Ruth for your encouragement and help- From baking cupcakes {to die for. See this link} to flying kites to planning and dreaming with me.....and putting chairs together! Etc. ETc.!

Heidi was so cute.  While Sam was taking pictures she helped us with some decorating....we didn't want her to do too much....she had the baby 3 days after this picture. Little Cole is Adorable!

Rusty Springs centerpiece

Putting together a "Wall centerpiece" at the Flourish shop-

Very simple to do- I just added small potted live succulents in the rings of the spring....I'm planning to add potted color to it as we get closer to the Open House.   Come see how it turns out.
